Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,653 per week in Santa Rosa, CA

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Operating Room Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift : 12 hours (07 : 00 - 19 : 30; 09 : 00 - 21 : 30) Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience required License : Valid CA License required Certifications : BLS required Must-Have : Experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic procedures. Ability to cover one night shift within the contract as needed. Availability to float between like units and hospitals nearby. Willingness to work weekends and two out of three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Description : Registered Nurse position in the Operating Room. Focus on trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic patients. Daily census averages 25 surgical cases. Interdisciplinary support from various services including pharmacy and rapid response teams. Night shifts usually staffed with two individuals (1 RN and 1 surgical technician or 2 RNs). Traveler may be required to float among different hospital units. Call rotation will be distributed equally every six weeks among staff. The ability to manage high-pressure situations is essential. Prior experience in an acute care setting is necessary. Maintaining infection control and adhering to safety protocols are vital responsibilities. Demonstrates proficiency with the Epic charting system.
