Clinical Shift Schedule : Mon Fri, 8a 5p
On-Call Shift Schedule : 1 : 5 nights / weekends
Call Type : In-House
Call Ratio : 1 : 5
Call Response Time : 30 minutes
Callback Rate : 6 hours per 24-hour call COVERAGE DATES

Patient Volume / Census : 810 inpatient rounding in the morning

Admissions : 1 average admission while on call

Phone Consults : Yes

Case Mix : Cardiology (Non-Invasive), Stress Tests, Nuclear Studies

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Active Ohio medical license

Board : Board Certified in Cardiology (Non-Invasive)

DEA : Active DEA Certification required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Experience : Minimum 1 year in specialty

Other Qualifications : Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Rotate with 4 other cardiologists to provide inpatient consults, office visits, and reading panels

Perform nuclear studies and stress tests

Round on inpatients in the morning

Participate in 1 : 5 night / weekend call rotation

Manage inpatient cardiology cases independently
