Position : Physician (Gastroenterology)

The Gastroenterology Department regular duty hours of operations are 0700 to 1630 Monday through Friday. However, Inpatient Gastroenterology operates 24 hours per day, seven (7) days per week.
The specific schedule for each two-week period will be provided three (3) months in advance by the designated government representative.
Regular Duty Hours : Services shall be required Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0700 and 1630, providing inpatient and outpatient services. Services shall be provided for an eight (8), nine (9) or nine and a half (9.5) hour shift to include an uncompensated 30 minute or one (1)-hour meal break depending on length of shift.
On-Call Hours : On-Call duty shall be assigned on a rotational basis with other Gastroenterologist staff. On-Call services will be required approximately two (2) weeks per month, including weekends and holidays, at a frequency of every other week. The number of on-call hours and timeframe is approximately 320 hours per month, including weekends and holidays.
Call Back Hours : While assigned On-Call duty, the HCW may be required to report to the MTF to provide services on-site. If required to report to the MTF, the HCW shall arrive at the Gastroenterology Department, prepared to provide services within sixty (60) minutes of being paged.
Contract Estimated Length : 1year PLUS 4 Option Years with estimated start date of February 1 st , 2026

Minimum Qualifications :
Additional Requirements : Provide two (2) letters of recommendation written within the last two (2) years attesting to the health care worker's clinical skills. The letters must be from a supervisor. The reference letter shall attest to the health care worker's communication skills and ability to relate to patients as well as professional and other interpersonal skills among staff members and must include name, title, phone number, date of reference, address, and signature of the individual providing reference.
