Role Overview

PingCAP is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our global accounting team. This team plays a critical role in supporting the company's worldwide growth, and we are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate closely with both the accounting team and cross-functional partners to execute general ledger and related systems and operational processes and ensure accurate, timely close and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Month-End Close

• Participate in the timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Lead periodic accruals for major cost categories (e.g., cloud, marketing, partner referral fees, professional services, etc.), ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper classification.
• Support the GL&Reporting leader in maintaining the general ledger, chart of accounts, and departmental structure, ensuring transactions are recorded in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing variance analyses and clear explanations for fluctuations.
• Manage intercompany transactions, including recording, reconciliation, and reporting.
