About American AI Logistics (AAIL)

American AI Logistics (AAIL) is on a mission to transform public sector procurement. Our AI-powered agents automate RFQ responses and predict government purchasing behavior, eliminating inefficiencies in a trillion-dollar legacy market.

You’ll work on our two core platforms—Autobid and Historian—mission-critical tools driving measurable outcomes for our customers and pushing the boundaries of automation in government contracting.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who thrives in high-ownership environments. You’ll have full autonomy to ship features, improve systems, and solve real problems—not just execute tickets.

You’ll work directly with the CTO and a tight-knit team of builders. This is not the kind of place where you wait for permission—if you see a problem, we expect you to take it on. We value engineers who think like product owners, act quickly, and care deeply about user impact.

What You'll Do

  • Build, scale, and maintain full-stack applications using React.js and Python
  • Design robust backend services and APIs, integrating third-party and LLM-based endpoints
  • Deploy and manage services across AWS (Lambda, S3, EC2, SQS, DynamoDB)
  • Own features from design through delivery—you ship what you build
  • Identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and implement fixes without being asked
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to shape product direction, not just react to specs
  • Participate in code reviews and uphold high technical standards

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 5+ years of full-time engineering experience
  • Strong skills in JavaScript / React and Python
  • Experience with AWS cloud services
  • Proficiency in RESTful API design and third-party integrations
  • A bias for action—you take initiative and don’t wait to be told what to do
  • Track record of autonomous problem-solving
  • Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with serverless architecture
  • Familiarity with LLM APIs or machine learning workflows
  • Prior experience working in early-stage, fast-paced environments
  • Agile familiarity (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)
  • Growth & Compensation

We reward impact, not tenure. You’ll have clear visibility into how performance is measured and how advancement happens.

  • Promotion Pathway : Defined role leveling with expectations and compensation steps
  • Bonus Structure : Annual bonus tied to individual + company performance
  • Professional Development : We cover relevant certifications, courses, and conferences
  • Equity Participation : Everyone shares in our growth
  • Benefits

    All full-time employees receive :

  • Health Insurance : EPO, PPO, and HDHP options (includes dependents)
  • Dental & Vision : Comprehensive plans with generous coverage
  • HSA Access : Pre-tax savings and spending flexibility
  • One Medical : 24 / 7 virtual care, same / next-day appointments, onsite labs
  • Kindbody : Gynecology, fertility, adoption, and family planning support
  • Teladoc & Talkspace : On-demand mental and physical health care
  • Disability & Life Insurance : 100% employer-paid long-term coverage
  • Work-Life Support : Financial, legal, and elder care consultation via Health Advocate
  • Apply Now

If you’re a builder who sees opportunities instead of obstacles, and if you're energized by autonomy, impact, and shipping fast—we’d love to hear from you. Join us in reshaping how the government buys.
