Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
This role champions the success of our Pain product portfolios, driving category growth through bold strategic vision and flawless execution of business and marketing plans. Develops and delivers a financial budget that resources new product and sustaining portfolio activitieswhile shaping strategies that win in the marketplace. Conducts market assessments and defines competitive pricing, to forging impactful NPD, from conception to market. This is central to the business and will be high-impact decision-maker. This position manages key customer relationships, orchestrates successful product launches, and optimizes gross profit and operating profit performance. In addition this role will focus on the future of our pipeline by working with the downstream RFA portfolio team on market opportunities and product innovation. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, RFA Solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
New Product Development (NPD)Lead cross-functional teams through the full product development lifecyclefrom concept through commercializationfor pain management products.Define customer and market requirements, translating insights into clear product specifications and business cases.Collaborate with R&D, regulatory, clinical, and operations teams to ensure successful, timely launches.Manage portfolio strategy, prioritizing innovation opportunities aligned with business growth goals.Sustaining Product ManagementMaintain lifecycle health of existing pain products, driving value optimization and cost improvements.Monitor product performance, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify sustaining or refresh opportunities.Partner with operations and quality to address supply continuity, design changes, or regulatory updates.Claims and Copy ManagementOwn development, validation, and maintenance of product claims, ensuring accuracy, differentiation, and regulatory compliance.Oversee marketing copy, clinical evidence alignment, and messaging consistency across all materials.Collaborate with medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) review teams to ensure compliant communication.Voice of Customer (VoC) and InsightsLead structured VoC programs to capture unmet needs, product feedback, and use-case insights from clinicians and patients.Integrate insights into innovation roadmaps and portfolio strategy.Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), field sales, and customers to inform decision-making and product positioning.Cross-Functional Leadership and StrategyServe as the upstream business lead for pain management category, influencing product roadmap and long-term strategy.Support business case development and financial modeling for new and sustaining projects.Communicate portfolio updates, insights, and progress to leadership and key stakeholders.Primary Partners and Customers :

External Customers : Avanos Customers (healthcare / alternate site facilities), Distributors, Key Clinical Opinion Leaders, GPO's.
Your qualifications :
Required :
Bachelor's degree requiredAt least 5 years of product management experience in the health care industry (or other regulated industry), gained through marketing roles or a combination of sales and marketing roles.Ability to travel at least 25%Ability to manage cross-functional teams without direct reporting relationshipsAbility to collaborate successfully and influence decisions Exceptional written, verbal and communication skillsExperience in forecasting and demand planningDevelopment of strategic business plansDevelopment of key tactics and execution plans that drive strategic goalsAbility to assess the market and competitive landscapeSuccessful product launch experienceGaining and understanding the internal / external customer perspectiveManagement of an advertising and promotion budgetKnowledge and experience with branding and brand managementAbility to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentStrong computer skills including : Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPointPreferred :
