JST is seeking a Communications Workflow Manager & Scrum Master to join our team.

Communications Workflow Manager & Scrum Master Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the day-to-day flow of tasks, information, and resources within the Strategic Communications team to ensure seamless operations.
- Analyze existing workflows and processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Allocate personnel and other resources effectively to support the Strategic Communications team.
- Prioritize tasks based on urgency, importance, and requirements to ensure optimal use of resources and timely completion of objectives.
- Manage organizational email accounts to aid in the communication of requests and information flow.
- Maintain a detailed project management system to track workflows, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring on-time and high-quality outputs.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, superiors, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of efforts and effective coordination of activities.
- Monitor and track the progress of tasks and projects, identify deviations from established plans, and take corrective actions as necessary to keep operations on track.
- Identify potential risks and obstacles to workflow efficiency and develop strategies to mitigate them proactively.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to workflow management activities, including task assignments, resource utilization, and performance metrics.
- Maintain a Government-provided electronic integrated calendar of upcoming communication initiatives to enable proactive planning and resource allocation.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to personnel involved in workflow execution to ensure adherence to established processes and standards.
- Continuously evaluate and refine workflow processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and adaptability to changing requirements and circumstances.
- Analyze team performance and product delivery metrics to identify opportunities for iteration and improvement, aligning with strategic goals.
Communications Workflow Manager & Scrum Master Qualifications
Possess 5+ years of experience in project management, workflow management, or a similar role in a communications, marketing, business, or related field. Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM or equivalent) preferred.Demonstrated expertise in agile project management methodologies and tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues related to workflow and project management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey information, instructions, and feedback to diverse audiences.Exceptional facilitation and organizational skills, with the ability to run effective meetings and guide teams towards consensus and action.Proven leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire, motivate, and lead teams to achieve organizational goals and objectives.Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in managing documentation, records, and reports.Proficiency in using computer software and tools for task management, data analysis, and reporting.Exceptional organizational and time management skills; Flexibility to work in fast [1] paced environments and adapt to changing priorities, and have strong time management skills working under tight deadlines.Ability to work autonomously in a highly dispersed remote organization.Other duties as assigned.Clearance Requirements
