Job Description
of the Senior Auditor :
- Plan, execute, and document compliance and financial audits in alignment with internal audit standards and objectives.
- Ensures audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances, and risk and are well documented
- Identifies risks and how they impact the business
- Identifies areas for improvement and can make control and / or process recommendations
- Anticipates and manages obstacles and can formulate effective solutions
- Builds, develops and maintains strong business relationships with colleagues on team and business and technology partners
- Effectively communicates audit issues to management and clients verbally and in writing
Senior Auditor Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional certification preferred : CPA , CIA , or similar.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in internal audit , public accounting, or financial / compliance auditing.
Big 4 experience or prior work in the healthcare industry is a plus.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and / or other data analysis tools (e.g., ACL).
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and written / verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and work independently with minimal supervision.
