Assistant Teacher, ELRC

Job Duties Duties & Responsibilities Provides student oversight and supervision.

Provides a safe and nurturing environment for growth.

Leads small group instruction at the direction of the supervising faculty.

Abides by the ideals and principles set forth by the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct.

Maintains compliance with DOE Childcare Licensure and NAEYC Accreditation Standards.

Assists supervising teacher in curriculum development and delivery of classroom activities.

Provides day to day support for the supervising teacher to facilitate classroom routines and daily caregiving tasks.

Participates in classroom management, set-up, break-down, decoration, etc. at the direction of the supervising faculty.

Communicates directly with supervising teachers and school staff related to the needs of the children and their families. Duties & Responsibilities Other responsibilities and activities as assigned by designated staff and supervising teachers.
