Dental Hygienist Lead – Make a Meaningful Impact on Community Oral Health
Join a mission-driven team dedicated to expanding access to quality dental care in rural communities. As our Dental Hygienist Lead , you will support patients in improving and maintaining lifelong oral wellness through preventive care, education, and compassionate service. You’ll also guide and support fellow hygienists to ensure exceptional care in every encounter.

Deliver high-quality preventive and comprehensive dental care in alignment with clinical protocolsProvide education and support that empowers patients to build healthy oral habitsCollaborate closely with the dentist and dental team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered careLead and support hygienist team members through supervision, coaching, and daily workflow oversightManage timecards, provide performance feedback, and support professional growth (AIM / Performance Development process)Contribute to achieving broader clinic and dental program goals, including productivity expectations and strategic plan initiativesSupport onboarding, continuing education, and competency development for new and current team membersMaintain a safe, welcoming clinic environment and uphold infection control and compliance standardsParticipate in outreach initiatives, including the Preventive Services ProgramAssist with peer review, quality improvement activities, and enhancements to policies and protocolsTravel to additional clinics and community events as neededEducation, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Associate’s degree in dental hygiene requiredBachelor’s degree in dental hygiene preferredWORK EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrates professional commitment to providing services to underserved personsComputer literate in electronic mail, word processing, and office management system softwareA valid, unrestricted driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage upon hire (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire) requiredLICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
