$65 to $70 per hour

About The Position

Summary : The Surgical First Assistant provides direct support to surgeons during cardiovascular and thoracic procedures. They assist in surgical exposure, tissue handling, hemostasis, and suturing to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries.
  • Handle tissues, control bleeding, and perform suturing as directed.
  • Maintain sterile field and ensure adherence to surgical protocols.
  • Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Monitor patient condition and assist with post-operative care as needed.

Job Requirements

Requirements :

  • 5 - Year experience Required,
  • OR  experience Required,
  • Certified Surgical First Assistant,
  • BLS Certification,
  • Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, Thoracic experience & CSFA, NBSTSA or NCCSA.
