Are you a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about bridging communication gaps and supporting diverse learners? We're partnering with schools across Illinois to bring on a full-time, school-based SLP who can provide impactful, culturally responsive care to bilingual (Spanish-English) students.

In this role, you'll be a vital part of the educational support team, offering targeted speech-language therapy, performing comprehensive evaluations, and contributing to the development of student-specific IEPs. Your expertise will help shape strategies that support both academic performance and social-emotional development for multilingual learners.

You'll collaborate regularly with educators, administrators, and families to ensure consistent, accessible services that reflect students' linguistic and cultural needs. This opportunity guarantees 37.5 hours per week for the full academic year, with potential for renewal based on performance. In addition, the school district provides valuable professional development opportunities to support your continued growth.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders, and possess an active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license prior to the start of the assignment. Bilingual fluency in both Spanish and English is required to effectively support diverse student populations. While ASHA certification is preferred, it is not mandatory.
