Analytics Manager
Hybrid - New Jersey / New York (2 days - Englewood Cliffs, 1 day - NYC)
$60-68 / hour
FTE conversion Salary : $125k-150k

We are seeking an individual to work with a Fortune 50 Broadcast Media & Entertainment leader located in New York, New York. As the Manager of Analytics, your role will focus on analyzing content performance, audience engagement, and consumption behavior across digital platforms helping inform editorial strategy, audience development and product development initiatives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to enable editorial and product teams with actionable insights, while working cross functionally with key stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications :
5 years of experience in digital media analytics or related field, with a focus on product, content and audience insights
Expertise in languages such as SQL, Python / R and experience with tools such as Databricks / Snowflake, Adobe / Google Analytics, Tableau / Looker / Domo, and experimentation platforms.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate complex data into compelling narratives.
Responsibilities :
Develop frameworks and capabilities for measuring audience reach, engagement, retention, and conversion across platforms.
Collaborate with partners in editorial, product, engineering and business stakeholders to identify requirements and ensure consistent and accurate measurement of our digital products.
Perform ad hoc analysis using SQL, build and maintain dashboards and reports and communicate analytical findings to all kinds of stakeholders, including senior leadership. Ensure the quality and reliability of these reports.
Enable experimentation with data-driven hypotheses, measurement plans and statistical analysis. Partner with product / business teams to design and deploy experiments.
Monitor and report on content engagement metrics across platforms (e.g. video, articles, newsletters, podcasts, commerce). Identify high-performing formats, topics, and publishing patterns.
Mentor new team members and contribute to collaborative forums across the data organization, developing best practices and team culture.
