Travel LTAC RN – Night Shift

Location : Wichita, KS

Assignment Length : 13 Weeks

Schedule : Nights | 3x12s (Full-Time)

Setting : Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)

HumanEdge Health is seeking an  experienced Travel RN  for a night shift contract in Wichita, Kansas . This is a great opportunity to work in a long-term acute care hospital environment, providing high-quality care to medically complex patients while working with a supportive interdisciplinary team.

Position Overview :

Provide direct patient care in accordance with the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and new staff

Conduct nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized care plans

Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly and in a timely manner

Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and discharge planning from the point of admission

Promote patient and staff safety and adhere to hospital policies regarding infection control, patient handling, and environmental safety

Communicate patient status updates to physicians and other care team members

May serve in a charge nurse role as needed

Requirements :

Active RN license in Kansas or compact state

Minimum of one year of experience in LTAC or acute care preferred

BLS required; ACLS preferred

Strong clinical, communication, and time management skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary care team
