A Day in the Life

• Workers primary responsibility is to successfully ship out orders of the day in a timely, safe and productive manner + Performs powered industrial truck pre-use safety inspection checklist + Reports malfunctioning powered industrial trucks and uses lockout / Tagout SOPs + Directs, stages and places all material in or outside the building using proper material handling equipment + Picks, prepares, packages, documents, labels, and ships all material according to prescribed regulations and using accurate dispatching equipment

Education : High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience : Preferred : Work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field Preferred : Experience with powered industrial trucks

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Ability to read and write in English Candidates who are committed to working in a safe and efficient manner. Worker must be capable of operating powered industrial trucks, forklift operator experience is helpful

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Candidate must be comfortable working in an environment with hazardous and non-hazardous materials Ability to work alternately in a seated or standing position is required
