Bilingual Leasing Consultant

Leasing Consultant Pratum Companies is looking for Leasing Consultant in our Annandale VA, Property.

This is an affordable housing property which requires all tenants to meet certain income requirements.

The ideal candidate will have understanding of affordable housing and fair housing regulations.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Handling all aspects of leasing apartments, including greeting prospective residents, following up with prospects, touring the community, processing applications, preparing leases and closing the sale Provide superior customer service Update unit availability / waitlist Bilingual -Spanish / English is perferred but not required Understanding the community and its amenities, rents, and specials - as well as those of the community’s competitors Conduct off-site marketing and assist in preparing marketing surveys Screen all incoming residents by objective qualification standards Achieve an acceptable leasing closing ratio Maintain activity reports by recording traffic daily Assist with resident programs and retention Assist with coordination of and participate in resident functions Processing Recertifications Perform all other duties assigned by the Assistant Manager / Community Manager Job Requirements : Prior leasing, customer service, or sales experience Excellent and premiere customer service orientation Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail and ability to work independently on assignments Proficient in Word, Outlook, One-Site Property Management Software and Internet     Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic Math skills  Pratum prides itself on offering a competitive salary and extensive, market-competitive health and welfare BENEFITS including : Medical, Dental & Vision  Prescription Drug Program Paid Vacation & Holiday Paid Personal / Sick Leave Company Paid Life Insurance Company Paid AD& D Insurance Company Paid Short- Term  Company Paid Long-term Disability Supplemental Life Insurance Dependent Supplemental Life Insurance Educational Assistance Financial Planning Retirement Savings Plan with company matching  Company outings and events This role is non-exempt and has an anticipated annual pay range of $21-$24 an hour for a new employee depending on a number of relevant factors including individuals’ experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, client / property or company budgetary limitations / guidelines, and other job-related company and market considerations.  This position may be eligible to receive discretionary and / or performance-based bonuses on a spot or annual basis, which are variable depending on individual merit / performance, budgetary limitations, company performance, and other job-related factors.  This non-exempt role will be eligible for overtime for all hours worked in excess of 40 per week.  Full-time positions (30+ hours / week) are eligible for 2 weeks paid vacation, 3 weeks sick and related leave, 11 paid holidays, and health & welfare benefits as outlined on the Company’s website.  To learn more about our company and our benefits, go to : https : / / pratumco.com / careers / To learn more about Pratum Companies, please click  here .
