Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 16 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Opportunity : RN - Stepdown Job Details : Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 15 AM Patient ratio of 1 : 4 Every other weekend requirement No on-call responsibilities Must float within scope to meet facility needs between like units 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start Required certifications : BLS and NIHSS Preferred certifications : ACLS and CPI Epic experience required Telemetry competency and Cardiac Telemetry experience required Previous charge experience and community hospital experience preferred Royal blue scrubs required Epic charting system 12 hours of orientation Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Care for adult and geriatric patients with daily census of 15 Skills include cardiac telemetry, managing drips, IV management, wound care, tracheostomy care, and various stepdown unit procedures Must be prepared for potential hurricane season emergency response team assignments from June through November Facility : This acute care hospital features 286 staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical services with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy. The facility utilizes Epic charting system and maintains modern equipment to support stepdown unit operations.
