HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel AK RN License is required for submission Alaska Regional Hospital Tell us about the unit(s) : Number of Beds - 14 Number of Staff - 8 RNs per shift Type of staff : o Day Shift - 1 Charge RN plus7-8 Staff RNs o Night Shift - same as days Patient Ratios - 2 : 1, 1 : 1 Type of equipment - Alaris IV pumps, EMR - EPIC Must have : 2 years experience Experience with EPIC AK license ACLS, BLS, NIH Independently manage intubated patients and titrate pressors Preferred or nice to have : 1 yr of experience recovering open heart surgeries List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : Intubation, art line insertion, chest tube insertion, central line insertion Floating Area(s) : Per union contract if unit is overstaffed travelers will float out to other departments first- MOU, CVSU, Ortho, Rehab or SPCU.
