Job Title : Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our industrial maintenance team. This role involves coordinating within the plant for preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshooting electrical issues, and installing new equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, and automation equipment including conveyance and robotic pick-and-place end-of-arm tooling. A background in plastic injection or blow molding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules within the plant.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues effectively.
• Install and configure new industrial equipment.
• Work with PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, and automation equipment.
• Maintain and repair conveyance systems and robotic pick-and-place tooling.

Work Environment

This position operates in a plastic injection and blow molding facility with a fast-paced environment. The work involves day shift, with 12-hour rotations from 6AM to 6 PM. The facility is equipped with new machinery transferred from another plant, and there is a strong focus on troubleshooting and addressing production job orders.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00 / yr.
