Senior IT Project Manager

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Devise and maintain project-focused dashboards and reports to communicate status, highlight performance indicators, and monitor financial trackingPartake in the formulation, application, and maintenance of program management regulations, procedures, and benchmarksTrack and report on the progress of various initiatives / projects within the program, and remove impediments / blockages that the team might face for smooth progressAct as the single point of contact for designated projects concerning timelines adjustment, and resource allocationFacilitate all scrum events in the program such as sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings (daily scrum), sprint review, and sprint retrospectiveAid in managing the backlog for projects, ensuring backlog items are well-defined, correctly prioritized, and ready for implementationGuide regular project reviews and progress meetings, ensuring proper communication and documentation of project performance, potential risks, and problemsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS
FORMAL EDUCATION :Required :Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or in lieu of related degree, at least 6 years of experience in portfolio, program management and / or project management rolesPreferred :Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2 or Agile) preferredKNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE :Required :5+ years of experience in portfolio, program management and / or project management rolesStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insightsDemonstrates communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish collaborative relationships and influence across teams and stakeholdersKnowledge of data management practices and principles and how to incorporate them into project management activitiesTechnical project lifecycle & phases, SDLC.TECHNICAL / SKILL REQUIREMENTS :Required :Project Management Methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence)Preferred :Data Analytics and Visualization Tools (e.g., Tableau and Microstrategy)Big Data Concepts (e.g., Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, NoSQL databases)Cloud Infrastructure and Technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)Data Management or Analytics Software (e.g., Informatica, IBM, Oracle)ABOUT EIGHT ELEVEN :
