General Description

The Physical Therapist will work as a member of the Physical Therapy service line within the OrthoNY Medical Practice consisting of Orthopedic, Spine, Sports Medicine and Pain Management physicians.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Demonstrates professionalism in all interactions with patients, colleagues, physicians, and all visitors to the practice;

Provides to patients a customized plan of care in an energetic outpatient physical therapy setting;

Collaborates with patients and colleagues, including Physical Therapist Assistants, to provide cohesive and well-coordinated care;

Proficient with EMR systems; completes documentation in a timely manner;

Other responsibilities as designated by the manager.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic setting preferred;

Current unrestricted New York State Physical Therapy license;

Experience with a wide range of patient age groups and diagnoses;

Time management and organization capabilities.

Other Information

Travel between our offices may be required. Reliable transportation is essential
