About this role :

As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Bariatric Surgery, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will add specifics here : (Add more info on position here - inpatient / outpatient, how many patients per day, what type of cases, how many beds in unit, etc.)

This position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and up to $10,000 in relocation assistance

You will practice at the Denver Midtown Weight Loss Clinic () and have privileges at Saint Joseph Hospital () , is a 365-bed facility and one of the top-ranked hospitals in Denver, CO

Your hours will be Monday through Friday, no call, no weekends

You will see approximately 13-14 patients per day for H&Ps, follow ups, and assisting with new consults, follow-up management and elevate to surgeon as appropriate

Triage incoming referrals to include pre-charting and discern with provider the patient should see and timing of appointment

You will have first assist opportunities in the OR 2 times per week

What you'll bring :

APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program

Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline

Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one

Unrestricted PA license in the state of Colorado or able to obtain

Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a PA in a bariatric and / or surgical setting. Please no new grads.

Minimum of 1 year of first assist experience

Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process

Needtowalkandassistwithtransporting / ambulatingpatientsandobtaininganddistributingsuppliesandequipment.Thisincludespushing / pullinggurneysandportableequipment,includingheavyitems.Oftenrequiredtonavigatecrowdedandbusyrooms(fullofequipment,powercordsonthefloor,etc.).

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$56.76 - $87.59
