JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry

RN - HRT TELE

Full-Time

Registered Nurse candidates for the Cardiac Telemetry opportunity will have the following job responsibilities :

• Continuously monitors patients' heart rhythms, vital signs, and overall health using specialized equipment to detect and respond to changes in condition, particularly those with serious heart issues or post-cardiac procedure recovery.
• Key responsibilities include interpreting EKG data, administering medications, providing patient and family education, performing physical assessments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Registered Nurse candidates for the Cardiac Telemetry opportunity must meet the following minimum job qualifications :

Education :

Nursing Diploma or ASN required, BSN preferred

Licensure :

Current Florida State RN license or compact state RN license

Current BLS Certification from the American Red Cross (HCA chosen provider) OR American Heart Association is required

Current ACLS preferred; required within 6 months of hire

Experience :

Minimum one year RN experience

Customer service abilities including effective listening skills. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment

Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and / or equipment up to 50 pounds

PREVIOUS CARDIAC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

ONSITES ARE MANDATORY FOR AN OFFER TO BE MADE
