Job description

Position Overview : Join our dynamic 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, where you will care for a diverse and complex patient population, including those recovering from :

Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections
Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries
Hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program
High volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, along with medical overflow cases

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver and coordinate comprehensive, evidence-based patient care using the nursing process.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and compassionate patient care.

Apply clinical judgment and critical thinking to support optimal patient outcomes.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance department functions and patient experiences.

Engage in continuous professional development and mentorship opportunities.

What We Offer :

Competitive pay range : $37.50 - $56.25 per hour.

Night shifts : 8 and 12-hour shifts with every third weekend rotation.

Sign-On Bonus : Up to $15,000 for 3rd Shift RNs.

Student Loan Forgiveness : Up to $20,000 available.

Tuition Assistance : Up to $7,200 per year.

Licensure and Qualifications :

Registered Nurse license issued by the state.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience preferred.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform patient transfers safely.

Exposure to chemical and hazardous waste; protective gear required.
