Senior Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to work for our Cleveland client. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities :

• Assist the Accounting Manager with month-end close processes and support the proper and timely recording of financial transactions in the general ledger in accordance with US GAAP and company policies
• Complete accounting processes and maintain effective internal controls around the tracking and accounting and related reserves in accordance with US GAAP
• Ensure the integrity of key processes by understanding systems, the flow of transactions, internal controls and recommending efficiency and effectiveness improvements
• Drive continuous improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes and controls
• Responsible for training and assisting less experienced accountants.
• Performs other duties, ad hoc requests, and projects as required
