    • Full-time | Monday – Friday | 6 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM
    • Pay :
    • $25 – $35 per hour (based on experience)

      We operate a growing fleet of over 50 vehicles, ranging from Sprinter vans to tractor-trailers, and we take pride in maintaining safe, dependable equipment.

    • Job Summary
    • We’re looking for an experienced

    • Diesel Mechanic
    • to join our team!
    • This position is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing our company vehicles to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

    • Responsibilities
    • Perform maintenance and repairs of the companies' heavy duty commercial diesel truck fleet.
    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs of companies’ other vehicles including vans, service vehicles, and forklifts.
    • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using fleet maintenance software, manuals, and other methods.
    • Perform repairs of engines, brakes, hydraulic systems, transmissions, electrical systems, tires, and cosmetic issues to keep vehicles operating safely and present a positive image of our company to the public.
    • Conduct preventive maintenance in line with DOT and company standards
    • Maintain detailed service and repair records
    • Communicate effectively with company management to explain repairs.
    • Consult with Fleet Manager and external contacts to offer expertise and guidance for repairs performed at 3rd party repair facilities.
    • Work closely with the Fleet Manager to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
    • Respond to roadside service calls as needed
    • Ensure adherence to EPA and OSHA safety regulations and shop protocols
    • Assist with general facility maintenance and upkeep as needed
    • Always work in a safe and efficient manner
    • Qualifications
    • 5+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or fleet technician
    • Strong diagnostic and repair skills
    • Practical experience working on different types of vehicles
    • Knowledge of DOT regulations and procedures
    • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
    • Valid driver’s license required; Class A CDL a plus
    • Must provide own tools
    • Basic computer skills for using diagnostic computers, logging repairs, service records, and maintaining parts inventory
    • This position requires heavy lifting and physical stamina. The ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work daily
    • Self-motivated and dependable
    • Strong organizational and time management skills to complete all tasks timely and accurately
    • Ability to work well with others as well as independently
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Preferred Qualifications

    • JPRO Software Experience
    • Motor Vehicle Inspection License
    • CDL Class A
    • Department of Transportation (DOT) Certification
