As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol Supervisor in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol a busy retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents to the proper authorities and / or management.

Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to the location.

Support a welcoming environment for customers, vendors, and employees while maintaining security-related awareness.

Work closely with Allied Universal management and site personnel to address security-related concerns and operational needs.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.

Experience in loss prevention is preferred.

A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
