is responsible for
supporting
visual arts (
e.g.
exture
haracter
odeling,
lendshape
rt) for
3DCG character pipeline
engineering
while closely collaborating
with
Sony's global R&D researchers
for Sony
future
entertainment
business and services
researchers,
software developers
artists, and designers to create high-quality 3D assets and animation.
Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques
to enhance workflows and improve final output.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for visual concepts and designs.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to 3D asset creation, animation, and rendering.
Create documentation and tutorials to share knowledge and best practices with team members.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION Your qualifications and experience should include : B.S. degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related fields.
3+ years of hands-on experience in 3D computer graphics (3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering).
Experience
with photo-real CG content creation workflow in games,
film
or other entertainment industries.
Familiarity
with 3D CG
tools such as
Zbrush
Maya,
Blender,
Houdini
Photoshop, Wrap,
Mudbox
Excellent communication skills.
Authorization to work in the USA.
Preferred qualifications : Familiarity with
retopology tools such as Wrap4D

anticipated
annual base salary for this position is $110,000 to $125,000.
This
range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.
