High-Level Description

The Senior Electrical Engineer oversees and manages the electrical and controls design of expansion and

maintenance capital projects executed by third party engineering firms to ensure compliance with Company standards and specifications and industry standards and managed to the project budget and schedule. Liaison with other functional groups within Project Execution, Operations and Shared Services to ensure project and company requirements are achieved and incorporated into the design deliverables.

Specific Accountabilities

The Electrical Engineer must have experience in the design of large horsepower (10,000 to 30,000 HP) turbine and electrical motor driven centrifugal compressor stations, and experience in industrial systems and Hazardous Classified Areas meeting NEC requirements and knowledge of the following :

1. Power

• 120 / 208 volt systems including lighting panels, lighting, convenience outlets
• 480 volt systems including motor controls centers / motor starters, motors, power panels, transformers, auto transfer switches and generators.
• 4160 volt systems including switchgear, motor starters, synchronous motors, circuit breakers, relaying, metering.
• Cable and conduit sizing.
• Starter and overload sizing.
• Grounding systems.
• Cathodic protection systems.
