Title : Material Handler

Location : Oswego, NY

Salary Range : $18.20

Position : Material Handler

Description :

• Works on shift
• Required to cover when off shift for when on shift Material Handler is absent
• Organizes and stores sample material received from CASH line on carts
• Needs basic computer skills
• Needs to be able to lift heavy material, some sample sheets are over 6 feet tall
• Organizes and maintains retain management system out back
• Removes / scraps material from corrals and retain system when testing or time limits have been reached
• Assists process technicians with daily tasks, which include but are not limited to : prepping Calbars, prepping XRF discs for testing, heat treatment of bend samples, shearing of bend test samples to 1 for testing, line check prep, finding missing or needed material in corrals or retains for extra testing, helping to wipe down tensile bars, calling scrap bay to get new scrap bin delivered when ours is full, report any broken prep equipment and / or carts from CASH, sweeping and mopping prep area when needed, etc.
