Job Description

Job Profile Summary

Architect, configure, and manage WGU's enterprise endpoint systems and infrastructure, primarily utilizing the MDM capabilities provided by Microsoft Intune and JAMF. Oversee Autopilot provisioning, configuration, and deployment profiles. Administer remote monitoring and management of end-user devices via ControlUp. Lead patching and upgrade strategies for Windows, macOS, and third-party apps using Intune, JAMF, ControlUp, and Alectrona. Manage application lifecycle, packaging, and deployment via Company Portal and Self-Service. Maintain support documentation and contribute to Azure Virtual Desktop infrastructure using Nerdio. Develop automation and remediation scripts using PowerShell, Zsh, and Bash. Collaborate with Service Desk, Site Support, and Security teams to resolve issues, enhance security baselines and resolve security vulnerabilities. Act as a team leader, driving cross-functional initiatives and serving as a key resource across the organization.

Job Description

• Designs, implements, and manages enterprise desktop and AVD architecture utilizing Intune and JAMF.
• Plans, implements, and manages Autopilot provisioning and software deployment through Company Portal and Self-Service.
• Plan and coordinate OS and 3rd party application patching and upgrade lifecycle with Intune, JAMF, ControlUp, and Alectrona.
• Performs application packaging and lifecycle management for core business applications.
• Develops and maintains support documentation.
• Participates in developing, managing, and improving Azure Virtual Desktop infrastructure utilizing Nerdio.
• Works without supervision and acts as a leader within the team.
• Write and deploy scripts as needed to close vulnerabilities, proactively remediate potential problem issues, and automate workflows.
• Manage and secure applications used on personal phones by utilizing Mobile Application Management.
• Works with and leads cross-functional teams to support projects and goals of the organization.
• Serves as a go-to person and is well networked within the organization. Researches, develops, and deploys new technology and capabilities that benefit and support University goals.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
