Job description

Rose Brand is a leading provider of event draping and décor solutions for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and more. We transform spaces into unforgettable experiences through innovative décor and exceptional service. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Event Décor Salesperson (Outside Rental Events Sales Representative) to join our team.

Position Overview

The Outside Rental Events Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales by building relationships with potential clients, understanding their event needs, and recommending tailored solutions. This role blends sales expertise with an eye for design and a passion for delivering memorable event experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the wedding, corporate, and social event sectors.
  • Meet with clients (virtually or in-person) to understand their vision, style preferences, and budget.
  • Create and present customized décor proposals and mood boards in collaboration with the design team.
  • Follow up on leads, negotiate contracts, and close sales in alignment with company pricing and service guidelines.
  • Build long-term relationships with venues, planners, and vendors to generate referrals and repeat business.
  • Coordinate with operations and design teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Attend industry events, bridal shows, and networking functions to promote services.

Qualifications

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in outside sales, preferably in the event planning, décor, or hospitality industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • An eye for design and ability to translate client visions into compelling décor solutions.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and / or event design software (e.g., Canva, All Seated, etc.).
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for client meetings and events.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
