About the Role

Seattle Choice Transport is looking for a reliable and experienced Class A CDL driver with basic mechanic skills to join our Indianapolis team. This position is ideal for a safety-focused driver who can also assist with light-duty mechanical repairs to help reduce downtime and support fleet readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles on local and regional routes.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and report mechanical issues.
• Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance tasks such as :
• Replacing bulbs, fuses, and windshield wipers
• Adjusting airlines and electrical lines
• Topping off fluids (oil, coolant, DEF, etc.)
• Greasing fifth wheels and tightening loose components
• Coordinate with dispatch and the maintenance team to address truck issues promptly.
• Support on-road performance by helping avoid unnecessary breakdowns.

Schedule and Compensation

Full-Time - Day and Night Shifts Available

Pay : $28 per hour

Overtime Available based on performance and operational needs
