Job Summary

The Marcus US Marketing team is a business critical, data driven team responsible for marketing campaigns and channel ownership across the marketing funnel, including customer communications development and an in-house creative services team. We are hyper-focused on prospect and customer experiences, ensuring our marketing and digital presence are impactful, clear, and effective.

As a Communication Operations Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the workflow and project management of the Communication Operations and Creative Services teams within the Marcus US Marketing team. This includes managing intake meetings for new requests, developing development timelines, monitoring project progress, and ultimately managing change as it occurs. Project Management would be across mediums, including design / copy requests for emails, paper letters, digital ads, web / UX copy, and other digital assets.

Job Summary & Responsibilities

Understanding the communications and creative development process and can shepherd creative deliverables to end-user
Managing and maintaining the team’s calendar and JIRA to provide up to date statuses and potential risks / barriers to progress (e.g. proactively flag timeline risks to the broader business)
Developing a full understanding of relevant product and market knowledge to contextualize work
Working to demanding timescales in a fast-paced team working environment
Developing reporting and monitoring metrics, identifying issues and making recommendations to resolve
Proposing changes / enhancements to project management tools to continue ensuring timely delivery and project statuses
Proactively identify ideas to improve processes
Plan, manage and execute creative deliverables that meet quality expectations and ensure customer satisfaction

Skills

Qualifications

5 years of experience in project management

Proficient in JIRA (dashboarding, customizing to meet project management needs)

Experience working with senior stakeholders

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management and program management skills

Strong stakeholder management

Ability to interact and influence at all levels and across functions within an organization

Ability to develop excellent relationships at all levels within an organization

Ability to balance strategic focus with tactical implementation / execution

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time

Strong sense of detail and urgency, with the ability to motivate others to deliver

Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Bachelor’s degree
