We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Psychiatrist to join a well-established behavioral health team near Carlsbad, NM. This is a full-time, hospital-employed position ideal for both new graduates and experienced professionals looking to advance their careers in a supportive environment. The role focuses on inpatient behavioral health care for adult patients aged 18 and older.

Position Overview :

• Full-time, hospital-employed position offering stability and career growth
• 25-bed inpatient behavioral health unit providing comprehensive psychiatric care
• Care for adults aged 18+ in a locked unit setting
• Monday through Friday schedule : 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m., ensuring work-life balance
• Available office space for individual or group counseling sessions
• Collaborative support staff includes experienced behavioral nursing staff and social workers
• No competing inpatient behavioral health units within a 100-mile radius
• Opportunity to teach medical students , contributing to the next generation of healthcare providers
