Founded by a Latina grandmother / community advocate over 50 years ago in Barrio Logan, FHCSD has grown into one of the largest community health systems in the country. With over 90 sites , over 227,000 patients, and over 1.1 million healthcare visits last year, we provide a wide variety of health care and outreach services to a very diverse patient population. General Job Description
Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, the Physician Assistant offers and provides primary care services to patients. As a provider for Family Health Centers of San Diego, you embrace a spirit of service to provide caring, affordable, high quality healthcare and supportive services to everyone, with a special commitment to uninsured, low income and medically underserved persons. You thrive on the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment with many chronically ill patients, knowing you are making a difference in your community every day.
