Technical Writer, Senior

What you will be doing :

• As a Technical Writer with Independent Software, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining clear, accurate, and user-focused documentation that supports a wide range of technical capabilities.
• You will prepare, review, revise, and manage technical materials across software engineering, systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user support.
• Your work will include writing and editing documentation for hardware and software systems, creating installation and configuration instructions, producing “how-to” guides, and developing code-level documentation in collaboration with technical teams.
• You will work closely with engineers, developers, and subject matter experts to translate complex technical information into well-structured content that is accessible to end users, operators, and stakeholders.
• Your responsibilities will also include developing implementation guides, end-user documentation, field and data definitions, data flow descriptions, and other technical publications using a variety of source materials such as engineering diagrams, technical drawings, and SME interviews.
