Requested Skill Set : Trauma patient management, IV administration of vasoactive medications, ventilator management, chest tube management, care of post-op surgical patients, cardiac rhythm identification and management, hemodynamic monitoring, care of stroke patients

Must have : Experience with CABG, heart valve repair or replacement, aortic reconstruction, acute myocardial infarction, acute decompensated heart failure, cardiogenic shock severe arrythmias, cardiac infections like myocarditis and pericarditis, complex vascular conditions, such as aortic dissection. IABP / impella experience.

Advanced skills needed : Invasive hemodynamic monitoring : arterial lines, central venous catheters, pulmonary artery catheters (e.g., Swan-Ganz) and ventilator management

Procedures performed on unit : CRRT, ECMO, IABP, Impella, chest tube placement, thoracentesis, ventriculostomy, moderate sedation, temperature management, cardioversion, defibrillation, lumbar puncture, trach / peg, TEE, EEG / Ceribell, bronchoscopy, organ donation
