STAFF RN-OR

Provides professional pre-operative and post-operative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Functions as scrub nurse / assistant or circulating nurse during surgical procedures. Provides patient care in accordance with prescribed, delegated medical regimen and hospital policies.

• EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE :

Minimum Required :

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, with current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.

• Incumbent will be required to attain BCLS certification within 3 months of hire; recertification required annually.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC or MICN required per unit policy, in order to be designated as Charge Nurse.
• Preferred :

BSN and specialty certification.
