The Department of Accounting at the University of Miami Herbert Business School invites applications from interested candidates for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position. We encourage applications from both candidates that will graduate in 2026 and that graduated in prior years and have visiting or tenure-track positions.

The position is for Fall 2026 and the appointment may commence as early as July 1 2026 .

Candidates are expected to pursue an active research program teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels and engage in service activities. Candidates should have (i) a Ph.D. in Accounting by the appointment start date; (ii) a proven track record of high-quality scholarly research according to the level of the position; and (iii) competence in teaching accounting courses.
