PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR, MIT Introduction to Technology, Engineering, and Science (MITES) Summer Program, will bepart of a six-week, residential summer enrichment program that exposes ~65 rising high school seniors from across the country to science and engineering fields, while supporting their highest academic potential; and oversee daily operations and lead a collaborative implementation team to ensure the success of the program. Responsibilities include supervising and directing MITES’ full-time and temporary program staff, as well as consultants who support MITES’ programs; leading logistics, program planning, hiring and training of over 40 staff members, program evaluation, student recruitment and selection, communicating and engaging with program stakeholders such as parents, students, vendors, and donors.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED : Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or education and a minimum of three years of relevant experience in education, program development, or coordination; exceptional organizational, attention to detail, analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills; leadership and facilitation skills; written and interpersonal communication skills (Spanish a plus); proven track record of fostering community, belonging, and respect in workplaces and academic settings; and experienced with high school students and leading undergraduates, graduate students, and professionals. PREFERRED : Master’s degree or equivalent; a minimum of one year managing program staff and direct reports.
