The Warehouse Supervisor’s responsibilities include :
- Supervision of warehouse operations to include Receiving, Material Kitting, and Inventory Control.
- Provide support in other areas such as material transfers, restocking activities, waste destruction, and Shipping.
- Overseeing implementation and compliance with STAQ Quality Systems (includes SOPs, WIs, etc.), continuous quality improvement activities, etc.
- Ensuring compliance with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) guidance’s.
Schedule : Tuesday to Friday, 3 PM until finish
SAFETY
Strictly adhere to all cGMP, health and safety requirements, procedures, and corporate policies.Practice safe handling of company equipment.Authorized to immediately stop any task that is determined to be an imminent hazard.Promote and demonstrate safe work practices and adhere to PPE requirements.Safely handle chemicals, corrosives, solvents, and other pharmaceutical compounds.Demonstrate physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and push / pull pallets, product cans, etc. multiple times per shift.Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Supervise warehouse employees who are responsible for material handling and kitting.Coordinate and provide training to employees in warehouse processes.Provide strong people leadership with a focus on creating / maintaining a positive work environment through effective communication, performance management, accountability, etc. This includes time and attendance review and maintenance for shift warehouse employees.Hire, develop and motivate warehouse personnel. Assure continual development of staff.Ensure all SOPs are current, training on SOPs, WIs and processes remains current and compliance with STAQ Quality Systems.Ensure accurate and timely completion of receiving records, logbooks, lot status labels, and controlled substance tracking.Provide on-the-floor support to warehouse personnel.Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.Perform cycle counts and investigations for inventory count discrepancies.Analyze warehouse efficiencies, downtime, and waste. Lead teams to improve results and production output.Work collaboratively with support departments to resolve issues and ensure batch materials are readily available and kitted to minimize production inefficiency and timely batch release.Serve as subject matter expert in relevant warehouse activities. Participate in internal and external audits (FDA, DEA, California Board of Pharmacy) as needed.Demonstrates advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to make recommendations and collaborate on solutions for resolving issues.Support Supply Chain to ensure all inventory transactions are executed in the ERP system in real time.Assist other departments and perform additional tasks as needed.High School Diploma or GED required.Minimum 5 years of general work experience.3 - 5 years of warehouse or material handling experience in a regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, or compounding environment.1 - 2 years of supervisory or lead experience.Knowledge of cGMP guidelines / standards.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience with ISO Standards.Strong knowledge of ERP systems.Demonstrated effective and respectful interaction skills and a measurable track record of influence at all levels of an organization.Excellent organizational, leadership, motivational, analytical problem solving and strategic thinking skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with dynamic priorities and demands.N / A
