Will see pediatric to geriatric patient population with most common diagnoses being abdominal pain, nausea, chest pain, car accidents, slip and falls, and farm accidents. Will transport patient to a larger medical centers if critical as BBGH does not have an ICU.Misc of 5 years experience working in ER department required. This is a firm requirement as they need experienced nurses. Licensed as Registered Nurse in State of Nebraska or compact state; BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC are required. BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be issued through American Heart Association. Experience with doing blood draws would be preferred as RN may need to draw blood in trauma situations. Dress code : Navy blue scrubs 12 hour shifts : 6 : 45pm-7 : 15am and 6 : 45am-7 : 15pm. May work 12 : 00pm-12 : 30am occasionally to fill in as needed. Will work every third weekend.
