Corporate Communications Coordinator (HYBRID - Richmond, VA)

Description

Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Communications, this position is responsible for aiding in the development and execution of enterprise-wide communication messaging while maintaining a positive brand image corporate-wide and across the bank's footprint. The Corporate Communications Coordinator will work cross functionally with multiple lines of business and partners to ensure internal and external messaging is on-brand and executes on Atlantic Union Bank's broader communication strategy and format.

Position Accountabilities

This position encompasses a range of responsibilities that may include contributions across the following areas :

Internal Communications

• Follow and execute against an internal communications calendar designed to educate, motivate and provide regular information to Teammates bank-wide to encourage a connected workplace.
• Assist in the development and / or edit Teammate communications across different lines of business within the organization including email messages, talking points and newsletters.
• Collaborate with business partners to gather information about important initiatives and priorities, aiding in the development of communication content based on this information.
• Along with all members of the Corporate Communications team, ensure that Teammates are following established corporate communication policies, processes and functions in regard to requesting and disseminating internal messaging.
• Assist in the planning and execution of corporate events (e.g. executive Road Shows, etc.).
