WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Conduct an investigation and assessment regarding payment discrepancies.

Identify and implement necessary actions to ensure appropriate outcomes are met.

Conduct and coordinate third party audits.

Advise and inform management of reimbursement issues.

Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED - Required

Associate's Degree - Preferred

4 years Emergency Room coding / charging, Revenue Cycle, billing experience - Required

4 years Emergency Room clinical experience - Required, or

None With Coding credentials noted below :

Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) - Required, OR

RHIT or RHIA - Preferred within 1 year of hire

TRAVEL IS REQUIRED : Never or Rarely
