Job description

A reputable hospital network in Rockland County is seeking a skilled General Surgeon to join their dynamic surgical practice. This is an excellent opportunity for medical professionals looking to further their career in a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Opportunity :

Hours : Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 : 30 PM
Specialty : General Surgery
On-call Schedule : Shared with 4 physicians

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients and create detailed surgical plans.

Execute a range of surgical procedures including abdominal, gastrointestinal, and emergency surgeries, always prioritizing patient safety and favorable outcomes.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including anesthesiologists, nurses, and specialists to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication throughout the surgical process.

Provide continued follow-up care to monitor recovery and manage any potential complications.

Perform additional duties as required to support the surgical practice.

Qualifications :

Successful completion of a Surgery Residency.

Board eligible or Board certified.

Must be licensed to practice in the state of New York.

2025 graduates or advanced surgical fellows are encouraged to apply.
