Compensation :

  • The pay for this position is $26.00 – $27.00 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Highlights :

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • The required availability for this position is 2 : 30 PM – 11 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends
  • Location : Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236

    • Responsibilities :

  • Perform thorough decontamination, inspection, and sterilization of surgical instruments, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards
  • Conduct routine testing and calibration of autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and other sterilization equipment
  • Adhere strictly to infection control protocols to prevent contamination and reduce infection rates
  • Manage inventory and restock supplies in coordination with surgical staff
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and logs to ensure accurate tracking of all sterilized instruments and supplies

    • Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Certified Sterile Processor
  • Completion of an Aide training program, a Central Technician program, or 6 months’ previous experience in Central Supply
  • Certification through NICHSPDP is required

    • Education :

    Required : High School Diploma or equivalent
