Job Summary
A growing technology organization is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to oversee service delivery across IoT, software, hardware, and integrated solution environments. This role involves leading technical teams, managing project execution, and ensuring clients receive high-quality implementation and support services. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, solution-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of installers, technicians, and technical specialists to deliver high-quality services.
- Oversee the deployment, implementation, and maintenance of IoT systems, software applications, and hardware solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal teamsincluding Sales, Product, and Operationsto ensure service delivery aligns with business objectives.
- Establish and maintain best practices, processes, and standards to drive efficiency and quality in technical service operations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery within scope and schedule.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and mentor team members for ongoing growth.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, integrating them into service offerings where appropriate.
- Partner with third-party vendors and technology providers to evaluate and incorporate external solutions.
- Ensure all technical service activities comply with relevant regulations, safety requirements, and industry standards.
Qualifications
Associates degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical field (Bachelors degree preferred).5+ years of experience in technical service management within IoT, software, hardware, or integrated solution environments.Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to inspire, guide, and develop technical teams.Strong hands-on technical background across IoT, software, hardware systems, or similar technologies.Proven experience in project management, including planning, execution, and performance monitoring.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience interfacing with clients and cross-functional teams.Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on innovative and effective solutions.Knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices within technical services.Experience supporting clients across various industries and delivering customized technical solutions.Ability to manage multiple concurrent projectsIf you're an experienced Technical Services Manager based locally to Meridian who's looking for a new challenge with long-term career prospects, please do apply now for immediate consideration.
