Job Summary


We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Commercial Janitor to provide professional cleaning services for commercial properties throughout Phoenix, Arizona. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, and professional environments in offices, retail spaces, and common areas.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Perform general commercial cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, partitions, and floors

  • Wipe down doors, walls, baseboards, light switches, and high-touch surfaces

  • Clean breakrooms, kitchens, and common areas (counters, cabinets, appliances as assigned)

  • Empty trash and recycling and dispose of waste properly

  • Refill restroom and janitorial supplies

  • Follow assigned cleaning schedules and detailed checklists

  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs

  • Take before-and-after photos for documentation when required

  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA standards

Qualifications


  • Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred (not required)

  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, walking)

  • Reliable transportation and punctual attendance

  • Comfortable working evenings, nights, or weekends if assigned

  • Ability to use a smartphone for timekeeping and communication

Requirements (Arizona & Phoenix Specific)


  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • Paid in compliance with Arizona minimum wage laws and federal overtime requirements

  • Arizona is a Right-to-Work state (no union membership required)

  • Background check may be required, consistent with Arizona law

  • Employment is at-will in accordance with Arizona law

Note on Breaks: Arizona follows federal (FLSA) rules regarding meal and rest breaks. Breaks are provided in accordance with applicable law and company policy.
