Senior Sales Support Specialist

What you'll do :

As a Senior Sales Support Specialist, you’ll work in the Specialized Mortgage Services Group supporting the National Sales team with its growing warehouse and mortgage servicing rights portfolio. You'll partner with bankers to ensure accounts are sufficiently managed on a day-to-day basis, including handling customer requests, working on annual credit renewals for existing clients and analyzing new opportunities. Additional responsibilities include monitoring and tracking customer performance and pipeline management / reporting.

Working with the Credit team to renew credit facilities; including ensuring the loan application has been submitted by the customer.

Preparing term sheets for existing customers and prospects.

Provide guidance and monitoring to the sales team in the areas of deposits, loan balances, market share and financial compliance tracking.

Support the sales team with pipeline and prospect management.

Potential to accompany sales team on customer calls to obtain an understanding of the business relationship / loan request to assist the banker in developing strategies to meet the needs of the bank and the customer most effectively.

Provide excellent customer service and represent the bank in a professional and responsible manner.

What you'll need :

  • 4+ years of related experience or similar field.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and / or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of various word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Intermediate to advanced customer service experience.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
